Meth Testing

Testing is an important part of the remediation process not only to verify the presence of contaminants but also to provide a clear indication of the extent and magnitude of any contamination that is present. Exiis offers testing at each stage of the remediation process covering;

These tests can offer instant results that give a positive or negative indication of methamphetamine presence. More detailed laboratory testing can be used to quantify the levels of contamination for the purpose of forming pre-Remediation Action Plans or providing validation that levels have been reduced to a safe range following remediation.
Where Clandestine Labs or manufacturing has occurred and signs of environmental contamination may be present additional testing is often required. We also offer air quality testing for VOC’s and environmental testing for soil and water analysis.

Decontamination Services

Once a premises has been identified as being contaminated and detailed testing has been undertaken to confirm the extent and level of contamination the next step is decontamination. The chemicals released during production and smoking are resistant to many standard cleaning detergents and, depending on levels, require specialised cleaning agents and techniques to ensure removal is successful. The costs of decontamination have to be assessed on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a number of factors such as:
